Hiccup in planning

So the venue we rented for the baby shower cancelled all reservations from now through May. So as of rn no baby shower. I’m getting together with my family and in laws to discuss the new plan for this shower. My bf and I both agree we still want to have one but we gotta be more realistic on the size and when to plan it for and also where! Originally the shower was supposed to be May 9th, but now we’re considering holding it after little guy is born for this whole virus situation to clear up by summer time. So more than likely sometime after the 4th of July. Sucks cause we were so looking forward to this big party but we gotta roll with the punches cause we can’t change the reality of what’s going on and how businesses are choosing to respond. However, I’m optimistic we will figure out a new plan and still celebrate our little guys arrival!!
