My boyfriend is away on his selection for the British army and I was wondering , how hard is it to have a long distance relationship with someone who is in the armed forces?

It can be stressful , my husband got deployed and it can be lonely but I'll be ok and you will be to :)

I'd rather only see him at times then not be with him at all....    We are both army so bith have to leave at times but we would not trade it for nothing.

It's definitely not an easy path. I've known my bf for 4 years and he left for the military the end of the first year I knew him. We started dating third year we knew each other but he was stationed down in Texas. While he was there we called texted skyped anything and then he came home for Christmas and it was awesome. And he ended up being moved closer. :) it is lonely sometimes and I don't talk to him during the day but I'll send him updates on what's going on with me and then we talk at night.
