What happens if your take your kid to the dr and the think they have the covid-19?

I was just thinking about that... what made me thing of it is because unless my sons fever drops I have to take him to the dr tommorow . So got me to thinking bc my son has had a virus for like almost 2 weeks . Initially just a sore read throat and grumpy. Well here we are two weeks late sore throat cough and a fever of 101.3...

Not that I am suspecting covid-19 because well there are tons of viruses we have dealt with that present these symptoms. But still what happens once you go to the dr and if they suspect covid-19?
