Cloth diapering?

Question

Anyone use cloth diapers that want to give me tips, recommendations, or share their experience with it? Really considering doing it.

We’ve been using best bottoms which is a two in one. The inserts snap into the shell. Super convenient and the shell can be used more than once. If he doesn’t poop, we’ll often use the same shell for the whole day. You can also use prefolds with the shell as well. 
I was very excited to use them and then, once little man was here, I got nervous. We used disposables for about 2 months and then decided to jump in and use cloth during the day. It helps me to remember it doesn’t have to be an all or nothing thing. It’s your life and your baby and you can do whatever you want lol. We’re still just using cloth during the day and disposables at night and that’s what’s working for us! Good luck!

Try talking to someone local who does it. My local boutique offered a two hour intro class, it was super helpful.
Its Honestly so easy just be flexible with yourself and find a system (there are so many) that works for you.
Personally I use pockets and prefolds/covers. We wash about every 3days, and do disposables at night. I use a flushable liner so I don’t often have to spray poop. We keep our diaper pail open so it airs out and smell doesn’t build up. We also keep a flexible schedule so when we are so overwhelmed with work or a long trip we don’t feel guilty about doing disposable all day, every once and a while.

I would join the cloth diaper group on here and check out fluff love university. We’ve been cloth diapering for a few years. Very easy and straightforward, especially once you have a routine.

I clothed diapered my second from birth to potty training.  I just started cloth diapering my third at 6 months.  There are a ton of diapers and washing methods to choose from.  Pocket diapers seem to be the most common now.  They’re easy to use and easy to clean.  I think some people make the process a bit more complicated than it needs to be.  I suggest reading through tips and tricks and trying different things to see what method works best for you and your baby.
