So before my boyfriend cheated, back in january he cosigned a car with me. Now that we're broken up, hes asking for a copy of the loan agreement. He says it's for his finances, but I seriously cannot trust him or his family. He said he has a long talk with his parents about it and its JUST for his financial records.

If he makes a copy, is there a way for him to take my car away from me? I feel like him and his family are planning that because they both know me and my family dont have alot of money, and I recently just lost my job due to moving back home. I have over $1000 saved up and am able to make payments on time for 3 months before my family has to step in (unless I get a job by then). Please say he isn't trying to take my car from me... it's all I have left... He already took my apartment and income...

Update my mom called my bank and reassured me that he can't take away my car and we're currently getting the insurance change so I'm completely off of his.
