Evening primrose oil??

Question

I don’t really know when to start inserting it or if I should take it orally or what I honestly don’t know. I’ll be 36 weeks tomorrow is that too early to start? Anyone who has actually used this please comment and let me know. I don’t wanna start too early but I also don’t wanna start too late my baby is measuring 3 weeks ahead 😂

Here is the schedule the doctor told me: 
36w-1000mg orally
37w-1000mg orally and 1000mg vaginally
38w-1000mg orally and 2000mg vaginally
And if you have never done it before, here are some helpful hints: 
-insert it right before bed. Literally put it in and then lay down
-wear a pantyliner because it will leak
-wash your hands and then put them in as close to your cervix as possible
