Not everything is bad.
The world is completely gone to shit right now, (not far from the usual.) But I’ve seen kindness and giving, that I’ve never seen before.
I’ve seen schools make sure every single student eats breakfast, lunch, and dinner and having their bus drivers deliver it.
I’ve seen people sewing re-usable face mask for hospital workers.
I’ve seen basic human kindness, younger folk helping out the elderly. Entire systems of people saying, “I have this, if you need it or need something I WILL get it for you.”
So many mothers have asked me, “Do you have what you need? I have diapers, wipes, formula you can have.”
This is a very scary time, but I feel as if I see a human connection. A collective mourning for the ones who we have lost, yet we now know to celebrate our life everyday.
I’m just trying to focus on and share some good.
