Doctor’s Appointments

Hi folks,

I’m wondering how people are preparing for doctor’s appointments these days? I’m pregnant, and need to attend my monitoring appointment at the hospital next week at 24 weeks, and was informed if I wait longer (or by the time we reach my 28 week appointment), they’re not sure how monitoring appointments will be handled. I’ll be wearing a mask, latex gloves, and a hat, but somehow I’m still worried - myself, and maybe one other patient will be in the entire office at this time, so I will only have contact with 1 nurse and 1 doctor, the most contact I have will be blood pressure monitoring and the doppler, and a urine sample in their bathroom. I guess I’m concerned about the staff potentially coughing in a small patient room space? I’m not sure how realistic, or how paranoid, I’m being - but the only thing uncovered will be my eyes (I wear glasses, but obviously not sealed).

I’m high risk, with autoimmune disease, and hx of asthma, incase this post seems over-the-top😂
