Discharge help

Okay so I’m 6 weeks and 1 day pregnant and I have had on and off brown and light pink spotting. I have mild cramping, nothing severe. I went to the doctors and they told me it’s normal and not to stress. They did some blood work and told me if I didn’t hear back by Friday everything is fine and I didn’t get a call. I just wanna know if anything like has happened to anyone else and they ended up being okay? I had a miscarriage back in May of last year but it started with bright red bleeding and clots the next day. I’m praying it’s not. :(
