Insulin question?!

New to insulin here, only been doing it about a week. 
So when I do my insulin, I switch arms and spots(because that’s that it says i dont know why) but when I go back to my left arm, it hurts wayy worse then any other spot and it makes my left hand go numb/tingly?!! I’ve noticed it the last 2 times I’ve done it. 
Anyone experience that?

When I was pregnant I preferred my love handles. I could lay on my side and inject easily without hurting.

You switch places because scar tissue can build up. Also if you don’t have much fatty tissue where you’re injecting it may hurt afterwards. Try your thigh or butt. Also try pinching the skin up when you inject. 
If it continues there are rare cases where people can be allergic to some types of insulin and I would contact your doctor.

My little brother has used insulin for nine years, your skin will callus if you don’t switch up the injection spots enough. He used to prefer his shots in his arms, but for the past few years he’s favored his thighs and stomach!
