Acid reflux/Nexium

I went to the Dr for sharp pain in abdomen and she told me what I knew it already was, growing pains, but went ahead and prescribed Nexium. Said it might help even though I haven’t had much heartburn and only slight acid reflux, mainly when I look down is the only time I would get it.

I’ve been on Nexium for 2 nights bc you take it before bed. Both nights I haven’t been able to sleep bc every time I’m against my back I have a rush of acid reflux that makes me have to sit up. Is it the Nexium that’s causing this I didn’t have this problem before?
