Four mo old growling? It started yesterday & I have no idea why! I thought he was trying to poop but he doesn’t poop when he does it, so I need advice on why he might be doing this?

My son did this same thing starting around 3.5 months and to this day will sit there and growl for no reason. Sometimes its to relieve tension or frustration sometimes it just feels good to do in their throat and sometimes they're just bored. Now that my son's older he finds the noises he makes hilarious and laughs at himself :)

Could be frustration or he might be a little bit constipated

Maybe gas pain? My baby used to do that when he had a hard time passing gas. Found out later due to him being premature he had hernia’s on both sides of his testicle walls. It was called an inguinal hernia repair
