Coronavirus Dilemma - Work

Shae

So, I’m 9 weeks pregnant and still at work every day with 600+ people. Our plant won’t shut down unless there is a government mandate to do so, and between my boss and I he has been chosen to be the one to work from home because he has a high risk daughter.

My dilemma (aside from why I’m not considered high enough risk to warrant staying home as well), is that the only sani-wipes we have in house (which we also manufacture) have propylene glycol in them, which I’ve read is not safe to be absorbing through the skin during pregnancy. I know I could look for sanitizing wipes that are safe for pregnancy but what are the odds of any actually being in stock considering what’s going on right now. Is the risk low enough that I should just use them, considering the alternative is possibly getting sick and a fever in the first trimester, which I know can cause facial deformities, brain development issues, fetal abnormalities, etc. Which poison would you pick? Assume you won’t get sick and not use the wipes? Or use them to be safer and possibly have adverse effects anyway from the propylene glycol?

I hate this.
