*First, I hope everyone is enjoying some family time and staying healthy through this crazy pandemic. 💜

My babe has been super fussy this past week or so and has been straining to poop without much success. We started solids about 3 weeks ago and his tummy hasn't been the same since, but it got worse after we did bananas. (We do 2-3oz of purees over 2 feeds per day.)

We started prune purée a couple of days ago, which is starting to help. But I've seen a lot of posts about giving water recently and wondering if I should start that also to prevent him from blocking up again as we continue with food.

Has anyone had any experience with giving water to help constipation?

Also looking for first cup suggestions. I tried giving him some water by spoon today and he just blew bubbles in it 😂

He has exclusively breastfed, no bottles, so I'm not sure if that might influence our choice.
