Sore throat or just irritated?

So my sister has (but is getting over) being sick and having a sore throat. (NOT CORONA).

Earlier this morning more i was starting to feel my throat feeling like a sore throat was about to start. I gargled some salt water and laid back down and when I woke up I felt better. The feeling tried coming back again so I took an ibuprofen because they say it'll help the swollen lymph nodes which it did.

My throat doesn't feel sore at all but I have to spit more often or just swallow more. Is this minor and will it go away soon? And Is it even a sore throat?
