Nipt inconclusive, nt scan?

Just wondering how many ladies got nt scan and nipt testing? My first nipt came back inconclusive at 11weeks5 days. I’m a little overweight. I’m getting it redrawn but I told them I want nt scan in case the nipt came back inconclusive again bc this is the last week I can get it. Am I going too much? Did you guys get both?"

My doc recommended doing them together (with the bloodwork about a week before the NT US) with the explanation that the results together give a greater level of accuracy than just doing one. That said, I am of “advanced maternal age”, so testing is recommended. I’ve got mine coming up in the next couple of weeks.

I had both done. My NT scan was fine and my NIPT scan was also inconclusive (I am a little overweight myself). I had the NIPT done again with a different company and everything came back fine and we are having a boy. They asked my if I wanted to do the NIPT even tho I’m low risk and I think the NT was standard since I wasn’t asked lol
