Bath after c-section?

2 weeks and 3 days postpartum. I was really wanting to take a bath tonight but not sure how long I have to wait after having a csection to do that? I would call my dr but the office is closed for the day.

I was told 4 weeks and another time my doctor told me 6 weeks which was a punch to the gut given I live for a good bubble bath.

6 weeks is typical to ensure no bacteria gets into the incision

I had to wait 6 weeks, but because I couldn't wait I just made it so there was enough water that wouldn't touch my incision and just kinda relaxed in the little water I had. It wasnt much but it was something.
