Potty training help!

Its only day 2 but I’m already struggling to cope with potty training my 2 3/4 year old boy.

We had a couple of successes yesterday with weeing on the potty, lots of praise when he did it but still had quite a few accidents

Today has been worse, he is getting upset and frustrated with being asked to sit on the potty and all he has done is wee on the floor

He says wee just as he is going to do it but then won’t sit on the potty, refuses and just goes on the floor, I’ve tried trying to physically put him on the potty but he goes stiff and gets upset

I don’t want to give up already but I need some advice, I’m trying to stay calm but I did get cross with him once today

I had always planned to potty train at Easter as I do feel he is ready and we have another baby on the way, I have brought it forward a couple of weeks as we are now home anyway

Any help would be greatly appreciated, success stories etc.
