Has Covid-19 changed your ttc plans?

Question

My husband and I have been saving up and we had plans to starts TTC in june/july. Unfortunately with Covid-19 and the potential of being out jobs for who knows how long, we are no longer going to start trying until this blows over. Just wanted to see who else is in the same boat.

I feel uneasy with the whole Coronavirus thing happening and how scary it would be to get pregnant right now. We have put off TTC until everything returns to normal.

I was suppose to start blood work this month (we've been TTC for over a year). We postpone it, it didn't feel right with everything going on in the world, I shouldn't be taking up resources while sever people are suffering from the virus.

My mom and I were going to move to Indiana from Illinois but the coronavirus has made our lives pause. It’s really heartbreaking because my school sitch isn’t good and neither is her workplace. It sucks because she already got the job but we can’t do anything until the virus passes. I am so heartbroken because moving sounded like the answer to all of my problems and now we won’t get to. If you read all the way to the bottom and are still here, I just wanna thank you for reading.

Yeah, after more than 3 years of trying we are quitting fertility treatments because we cant afford them anymore. We are still trying to be ok with it.

I’m on an unpaid leave from work, things are more financially stressful but we’re still TTC. There will always be a reason not to try. The odds of us conceiving are fairly low month to month anyway. So we will just continue to have unprotected sex and accept that it’ll happen when it’s meant to. If it happens now it’ll be a little hard on the finances but we’ll manage and will take it for the blessing that it is!

Yeah. I had a 24 week loss in November, my mom has lung cancer, my husband is a first responder, so I feel like the stress would make me lose it. I’m already freaked out lol plus my doctor’s office is basically on lockdown and doesn’t allow spouses or anyone to appointments. And several of the prenatal appointments are done virtually now. It’s just too much. 
That said, I’m 33 and my recent bloodwork told me my egg reserve might be lower than average, so I’m not sure how much longer I can wait 😖
