So I live with a relative and he has been having a go at me tonight, he does this often especially when he has had a drink... he keeps threatening to “cave my face in” and “punch my teeth down my throat” he has went to strangle me on multiple occasions before. Does anyone know if I contact the police what can actually be done? I can’t afford to move out my home and I have put a lot of time/money into decorating it. I am actually scared to go upstairs to my room. His room is upstairs and I’m actually scared to go to sleep tonight. He knows I am depressed and very suicidal and struggling to stop myself from doing something stupid and he has basically told me to kill myself and told me that none of my family care about me
