How can I fix my internet?

My internet is down for some reason. It won't work on my phone, laptop, or Xbox. 
Our internet bill is paid, so it would not be shut off. Everything is connected correctly and turned on. I have tried disconnecting and signing back into the Wi-Fi. 
It was working just fine earlier. I was working on my laptop while watching Netflix on the Xbox and then they both went down at the same time. 
I am far from tech savvy, so I have no clue what to do or even what to look for. My husband is asleep and I don't want to wake him up for this. 
Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this and how to fix it?

Sometimes around this time of night my internet doesn’t want to work. I usually have to restart my phone. But as someone else said, there should be a reset button that you can press. ￼

Did you try unplugging the modem ?

If resetting the router didn't work you need to call the internet company. A lot more people are at home using internet so its straining the system.

Have you tried turning it off for 30 seconds and back on again?

Call your interne provider. I have spectrum and usually they have a recording if they are currently working on the internet system especially at night. They tend to do this when they think people might be asleep. Just wait it out and find something else to do in the mean time.

If you've tried what everyone else has posted & it's still not working, call your intranet provider. You may not get a real person, but there might be an outage in your area & usually they'll say that in a pre-recorded message. Just a tip so you don't drive yourself bonkers looking for a solution if there isn't one. 🤷‍♀️ Good luck!

There should be a reset button you can press on the modem. Hold it down til it turns off & then starts flashing again. & try unplugging and then plugging in the router.
