Would you do this for someone?

I I’ve been seeing this guy for a few months now. Nothing official nothing serious. We do things together but once again we’re not dating. So we go gun shopping together the other day and find some we like. We apply and whatever. Come to the day to pick it up he gets denied. He then asks me to buy it and he’ll give me money. I definitely didn’t say yes. I told him I didn’t feel comfortable with it So he calls and says he’s waiting on me and I said “I’ll have to think about it” meaning I’ll talk to you later. He said he was leaving. Then he texts me saying he’s waiting. I don’t text and drive I didn’t see it. I get there they are closed so I leave. He calls and says I tried him because I should’ve met him in back and got his money. But I drove off because I was going to see him later.. He then proceeds to tell me to give back his key and that this thing we have is over. He says I feel like you don’t trust me so I’m not gonna trust you. But I went dropped his key off let him get whatever off his chest and left. That’s my life on the line wtf. Not that I didn’t trust him I wouldn’t do that for anyone. It is what it is. 🤷‍♀️ I feel like if he couldn’t get it then what do I look like getting it for him. would you register a gun in your name and let someone else use it?
