Love my baby jogger! We have the double in the non Lux version and a Chicco car seat

Britax is great, I would say superior to safety 1st, and compatible with baby jogger equipment. Especially when looking at something to last awhile, like a stroller, I would figure out what stroller covers all your wants and needs and then figure out an infant seat that works with that. It’s just very limiting to only use one brand and hope to find a good enough stroller to go with it. I have a few different baby jogger strollers and they are awesome! Very smooth ride, high quality fabrics. You could also look at options that are safe to be used from birth, rather than something you put the car seat on. It’s definitely better for baby to be out of the seat when possible, although I do understand the convenience of being able to just click them on. I mostly used uppababy when my guy was tiny because of the travel system abilities for quick trips into the store.

It’s just a preference. Ive always used safety first for my daughter and I love it. I guess I would consider other brands if I had to but that brand is my first choice.

I get my strollers from Facebook marketplace though

Mine is 3 also but he loves being in the stroller still cause he gets tired from walking. I also have a Graco stroller that is a sit and stand for him

She will be 3 by the time the new baby comes.
