Hi everyone!! I used cloth with my first daughter but it was through a service. This time around since Covid19 the service we used isn't available right now. My husband and I decided to do it on our own this time around!

With the service we got Prefolds and used our own covers and we loved that so that's what we got. They are due to arrive tomorrow so I need advice on how to prep them.

I saw two different ways.

One was to boil them for 15 mins, wash on hot then dry on hot.

The second was to was on hot 3-5 times in a row and then dry on hot.

Which way works best? Should I use detergent?
