Did you find stretch and sweep effective??

This is my second pregnancy I’ll be having a stretch and sweep done next week at 38weeks. With my first I got my sweep at 39 weeks and still had to be induced at 41. Was it helpful your second time around?

Took two different sweeps but the second worked.

Had mine on a Monday at 38+3 at 3:30pm. Went home and did everything I could to keep moving - no sitting! - and drank more water than I ever have before - stay hydrated! 
I went for a 1.5 hr walk, made dinner, ate dinner while sitting on a medicine ball, cleaned the house, did squats and had sex.  Woke up at 2:30 am with contractions 6-7 min apart. Had to pee what seemed like every 5 min. Had bloody show. By 5 am contractions skipped to 3-4 min apart and were growing insanely intense! Went to hospital at 6:30 and was 6.5 cm. Got my epidural at 8:30 am at 8.5 cm (I was dying at this point!), epidural kicked in FAST and I was at a 10 by 10:50am. Pushed 4 times and she came out at 11 am!

I just had my baby girl Thursday of last week and I got a sweep done Wednesday afternoon so definitely worked for me! Fastest labor ever too haha but I don't know if that's because she was my third! Good luck I hope it works for you!!
