Boyfriend Trouble

I have a boyfriend I've been with for 3 months now, he's been away on training nearly every weekend these past few months, where I trust him 100% not to cheat on me. He lives 10mins in a car away and I've not seen him for over a month now. I send him messages just to see how he is, to which he doesn't reply for around a week. I don't know what to do as I don't want to take any drastic actions. Should I trust him not to hurt me?
