Read Jonah chapter 1 verses 1-14

* I usually put the scripture up but it would make this post entirely too long so I didn't this time. But, in the book of Jonah, God commanded the prophet to go warn a great city about their sin. Jonah, the prophet, refused and decided to flee from his assignment/from God even. So, Johan hops on a ship heading in the opposite direction of where he's supposed to be going. While on this ship God sent a raging storm. The people on the ship begin to panic and call on their gods and even to throw things off the ship as means to lighten it. All the while Jonah was below deck fast a sleep. Eventually they find Jonah and figure out that his disobedience is why God has sent a storm on them. So ladies be careful who you invite in your inner circle, be careful who you make agreements with, be careful who you confide in and be careful who you HELP. Pray and ask God about people before you accept them in. Many times we link up with people who is running from God and we get caught up in the storm when God comes looking for them. In this story case the guys were able to throw Jonah out of the ship. But it dont always work out like that.
