Baby measuring large?

I went in for my 24 week appointment today and everything is going well but my belly is measuring 28 weeks vs the 24 weeks I am. My doctor requested I get an ultrasound done within the next week to two weeks. Has anyone had this before? Baby was measuring about two weeks bigger on every ultrasound I’ve had but the doctors didn’t seem concerned. I know exactly when I ovulated so I know he should only be 24 weeks. I asked if it could be gestational diabetes but I’m not gaining a substantial amount of weight but baby is apparently huge. I’m literally all belly.

Yes! Currently 27w and just had another US yesterday.. baby is measuring 3 weeks ahead & an approx weight of 3 lbs!! There’s no mistaking our date whatsoever either since we did IVF. I am the same way, all belly.. my dr didn’t seem too concerned yet. I’m going for growth scans every 4 weeks so she said we’ll continue to keep an eye on him and that he may level out at some point. My first pregnancy, my son was also measuring ahead by 2 weeks and he ended up coming at 36w weighing 5lb8oz. I’m preparing for this little guy to make an early arrival as well.

My belly and my baby both measured 2-4 weeks ahead my whole pregnancy with my 1st. I was getting regular ultrasounds anyways because I was high risk for other reasons. My son was born at 36 weeks exactly and was 6lbs 9oz. Every woman carries differently, and every pregnancy is different. They'll want to check to make sure baby is measuring alright, but most likely everything will be fine ❤️

You look fine. It is possible he or she could be bigger they will just monitor the growth usually the placenta keeps baby from growing at too far of a pace. But usually after 20 weeks genetics takes over. So he/she might just be bigger in general. I had my 24week check and had measurements done and baby is in the 52.2% tile which is what they want apparently but I’m carrying a girl and dad isn’t super big so she might be average!

My belly was measuring right on track- but during an ultrasound we found out baby was measuring behind and had IUGR. Turns out I had excessive amniotic fluid or polyhydroaminos. So my belly was mostly amniotic fluid
