Baby feeding pain?

Hi all. My LO is 5 weeks. Ever since birth feeding has been a struggle with him. More recently I’ve noticed a lot of discomfort for him while doing feedings. We are doing bottles of breast milk as he never could properly latch. During feedings every time you pause (to slow him down as he often gulps) he starts making distress noises and start arching his back or going into a ball. Burping him over the shoulder seems to help eventually but the second I try to resume the feed he starts with the discomfort and noises. Often times it’s hard to finish the feed after the mid feed burp bc he is so uncomfortable and distracted. It’s hard to describe. Thanks In advance!
