How to do egg hunt?

We normally do an easter egg hunt inside, with eggs hidden all over the house. I wanted to do one outside this year but I cant figure out how to do it without my kiddo realizing I put the eggs out.

My child is extremely smart and we're trying to convince them the easter bunny is real. Normally I would do the egg hunt inside after they go to bed, but I dont really want to go out and put the eggs out there at night lol. I will if I have to though.

I can't do it in the morning because we get up at the same time which is 7 AM, and if I try to sneak out there they will 100% notice and will likely realize I was the one who put the eggs out.
