I have a bassinet next to my bed but I have to get up still to put him back to sleep. Plus he hates it so I would have to get up every like 30 minutes 😩😩😩 fuuuck that lol

Id stick to BF because if you give her a dummy, it'll fall out when she falls asleep and you still have to get up and out it back in when she wakes up.My eldest refused to take a dummy and I would just breastfeed her at night. My second baby would not settle at all so a dummy soothed him. He wakes more at night than his sister and Im constantly having to pop his dummy back in his mouth. Not looking forward to when we have to start taking the dummy away either 😥

I don’t think it hurts to try. Plus you can let your partner take turns putting her down that way if it’s an option she won’t rely on nursing. My daughter is EBF and occasionally takes one and only to fall asleep. I don’t have issues of her waking up more having to put it back in whenever she wakes up.Also I don’t nurse at night because of this and stopped awhile ago when she started sleeping through the night. My body just adjusted and my supply is fine.
