Period every two weeks

ave been getting my period every two weeks. I had my pap and hormones done the middle of October. Everything was normal. I went back to the doctor on Tuesday and she said she wasn't to do a sonohyesterogram (saline ultrasound) to check for fibroid and polyps. Anyone else have any experiencewith this? Also I have an event later that day after the procedure. Will I be ok to go?
