Stress: update

I am laid off due to Covid-19. It’s been almost 3 weeks now. I was initially approved for unemployment, but my weekly claims keep getting denied and I just... don’t know what to do. I can’t get through to an actual person when I call and the website offers no helpful information. My baby is due in 7 weeks... or less, and right now I’m using my maternity savings to pay bills. I just want to cry.

I got through to an actual person today. She said that the issue was something from 10+ years ago. She had me on hold for 20 minutes while she did some stuff. She said I’ll be on overnight review, and that I should start receiving my payments soon. I really hope so! Keep your fingers 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 for me!
