Mucus plug or just rough sex?

Ok might be tmi but whatever!!! My baby daddy and I just finish doing it.. as I go and clean myself I see blood but if it’s like a period about to start. Then at the same time I’m feeling a lot of pressure in my vagina so I tell him Ima take a hot shower..while taking the shower splashing water on my vagina I blob of blood comes out.. like the size of a quarter.. now Idk if that was the mucus plug? I’m just waiting to see if I start getting contractions now..
