I’m scared I might be pregnant

So recently I’ve been having sex with my boyfriend unprotected and I haven’t refilled my prescription for my birth control recently. We’ve had sex 3/23 and 3/26 using the pull out method. I’ve missed my whole period at this point, which should’ve started on the first of April. I think my next steps are to get a test and then if it’s positive to tell him. We aren’t ready for such a big responsibility. I’ve also noticed that my nipples are way more sensitive than usual. What do you guys think, and I taking the right steps? Should I let him know I might be pregnant before testing?
