My boyfriend is mad at the gender results

So i got my NIPT results this morning and found out we’re having a baby girl, since we found out i was pregnant he’s been talking about having a boy and having his junior but when i told him that we’re having a girl he got upset with me and stopped talking to me. I understood at first but now its been hours and he’s blatantly ignoring me and treating me like it’s my fault. I think he even teared up because he was so upset. Has this happened to anyone else?

UPDATE: Thank you guys soooo much y’all made me feel so much better 😩 He eventually came around this morning and apologized for reacting that way he says he was just disappointed because he wanted a boy so bad. He’s seems super excited again so i’m glad
