I need help desperately

We’ve always had issues with feeding, we’ve been to the feeding team and still no answers. My son will ONLY nurse/take a bottle when he’s sleepy. It wasn’t an issue when he was younger but now that he’s getting older and wanting to be awake longer, it’s very frustrating. I can tell he is hungry but he will not nurse until he’s rocked until he’s drowsy. He’s eating every 4 hours right now, and gaining weight fine but it is so frustrating that he will only nurse or take a bottle to fall asleep. Does anyone have similar experience or can point me in how to break this 😩
