almsot fainted using a tampon

hi so i’m 15 and i just tried putting in a tampon for the first time. after i put it in i got super dizzy, light headed, nauseous, extremely sweaty and i couldn’t see. i couldn’t stand up so i closed my eyes and tried to wait it out. i took out the tampon and after about 15 minutes it started going back to normal. after, i was still shaking and weak but i need to learn how to wear a tampon. does anyone know why this happened?
