Has anyone taken progesterone vaginally?

Question

I took a test and it was positive (3 weeks after a miscarriage) and told my dr right away. She wants to start me on progesterone. Did anyone experience any side effects from progesterone supplements? 
FYI- dr is sure it is a new pregnancy as we were monitoring my HCG and it went down to 0.

Wear a pantyliner, I had lots of white discharge from the progesterone. I also got very drowsy.

Yes I had to do them after IVF. TMI but be prepared for TONS of white crap in your underwear. Get it up there as high as you can. You may be a little moody and I gained a few pounds too. Hang in there :)

Yes! My first pregnancy ended in miscarriage. When I became pregnant for the 2nd time, I was prescribed Progesterone vaginally and ended up with my rainbow baby! It can be uncomfortable due to the leaking, but SO worth it! I only had to take it until I hit 10 weeks. I’m 7 weeks pregnant again now and taking it again.

Yes! Had to take 2 times a day until about 23 weeks. We had a miscarriage our first
Pregnancy (no progesterone) and then the second we got our in it early. We just had a beautiful and healthy baby boy in February! Totally worth it, no side effects on my end just when some of it comes out it may stain any white underwear you have!

Yea I did. No crazy side effects but just be aware the white cream like stuff comes out after the medication is absorbed. Wear a panty liner, do nightly “sweeps” to clear some of it out and make sure your partner obviously knows because trust me a lot will come out after sex. They can’t feel it or anything but a lot will come out after and it’s a bit weird if they don’t know what it is lol

I had to take them orally for the first 14 weeks of my pregnancy and they made my morning sickness worse but now I’m 30 weeks and I’ve been taking them vaginally for 5 weeks. No side effects for me other than white discharge from the pill. I wait until I know I’m going to use the restroom for the last time before I fall asleep, pee, and then put it in as far as I can and lay down. I don’t sit up at all after it’s in as it can push it out.

I have sleepiness for sure I take mine at night. I've had a little more discharge and not sure if it's a symptom of the progesterone itself or just pregnancy but I have hot flashes randomly.
