Who else stopped giving ur LO pacifier ?

My LO is 18 months & she’s teething sm! And we’re barely stopping 😖
How did your LO react? What did u do to help..

So my issue as my daughter has hers for acid reflux issues has anyone dealt with that yet???? If I don't give it to her at night as I didn't for a solid 2 weeks she was throwing up every night pure acid so I gave it back just curiois if that was still helping as thats what I was suggested since day 1 of realizing shes like me with the acid reflux issue ....

We did cold turkey at 15 months. I cut the end of one of hers and showed her and told her it was broken. She tried to suck it but couldn’t, laughed and threw it. Then I only would give her that sucky for her nap, and she cried for about ten mins and fell asleep. Same thing at night time. Left that sucky in plain sight for a few days and she didn’t even look at it. She did totally fine

We just quit the pacifier 3 nights ago! Our LO was only using it for sleeping. It was way easier to get rid of it than I expected. She fussed a little the first night but she never asked for it so I don’t know.

Nightmare for a week straight. But we stuck through it and he doesn’t even remember it I bet its been about 6 weeks. We did cold turkey. I almost broke on night 2, he was LIVID and he only ever used it at bed time even before that all his life. But luckily my husband was home and hes tougher than I am. He reminded me that it’s better this way (I was starting to notice his front teeth flaring) so I stuck it out. Good luck!!
