Birth control making me sick?

Question: So i am on birth control for the next 14 days till i have surgery (to remove something in my uterus) this is day two on it😞 uesterday i had the worse cramps. Today i had to leave the mall i was getting hot flashes, was dizzy, almost threw up! 🙊 When i got home i took tums and went to sleep. 3hrs later i am up but still feeling queezy 😓 i googled and it said birth control can make people sick. I am 29 and have never been on it before. Any insight?
