Olivia was born 10/24 at exactly 38 weeks. She was 7lbs 3oz and 19.5 inches long. My labor went pretty smoothly. I went to the hospital at midnight and was 5cm. By 2am I was 8cm. Didn't get an epidural but I did get IV pain medicine around 3am because I was having pretty intense back labor. It took the pain away and I was able to sleep a couple hours. At around 5:30am my water broke and I told the nurses I went quick after my water broke with my first. Apparently they didn't believe me lol. By 6am I told them I needed to push. The nurse checked me and I was 10cm. She told me not to push since the doctor wasn't there but that wasn't an option lol. The doctor didn't make it and the nurses delivered her. It only took 13 minutes and four pushes and she was out. No tearing or anything which was awesome. She'll be 2 weeks old Saturday and is doing great and breastfeeding like a champ. I love her so much and am so happy she is here!
