Would you be a stay at home mom/wife?

Question

My fiance and I are getting married when I return from training. He doesn't want me to work even when I work he always tell me he wanna take care of me, our son, and the bills. I don't want to give a guy the feeling I have to depend on him for anything. What are the pros/cons?

I plan on working at least part time.  There is no reason why I can't work and be a part of the lives of my children.  My husband is on the exact same page.  I CAN have it all, dammit.

Im a stay at home mom...
Pros: you get to be home, spend time with friends, family, child, work on the house, and pinterest becomes your bff.
Cons: you spend too much time at home, you you have a child but you get bored, budgeting isn't fun, you get irritated on the weekends because so wants to stay home but your always there, etc.
My ass is going back to work.

I am a stay at home Mom/wife and love every second of it. I have 2 state certifications, a masters degree, etc and not using any of it. For me my heart is at home. After my first baby was born I knew I wouldn't go back. It isn't for everyone, but it's amazing for some :) best wishes!

I am now since June. It was ok but now every time we have a fight all I'm good for is sitting at home all day and spending HIS money.

There was a time when my boyfriend was going thru a rut and was out of work for almost 2 years. I supported him that whole time. I paid the bills, kept food on the table, paid for the truck and bought him new clothes and shoes. When he finally found a job he told me it was time to make it up to me and he didn't want me to work anymore. We decided to have a baby and I told him once the baby was born I didn't want to work anymore, I wanted to raise our child. That's what I've been doing for the last 5 months. It works for us. I didn't have a career or years of schooling that I was leaving behind and we can make it on his income alone and most importantly he doesn't feel as though I owe him anything. We are a team. He works and I take care of our child and home, he needs me, I need him and our child needs us both.

Heck yes. I don't work full time but close to it. But once we start having babies I'm done for good. (I'm educated with a bachelors and halfway to a masters) but raising my children is worth more than any amount of money to me!

Id love to be a sahm when the time comes, but I also love my job(rmt). I don't think I could leave my whole clientele, and come in a few years. So I'm just going to cut back to 3 days/week when baby is about 5-6 months old (sad but it's what we've discussed will work for us )
