Am I overreacting?

So I had called up my mom (who is very close with) and she was frustrated with EDD. I asked her what the problem was because I have a friend that had a similar scenario. She ran me through it and My friend had called EDD so I asked if she had tried calling them yet. She got snarky and was like “haha haha don’t make me through my phone”

And I laughed and said “what! It’s an honest question”

Her “no it isn’t, you think I havnt tried calling them? Do you have any idea how hard it is to-you know what your getting paid so your just in la la land and you don’t understand the seriousness other people face!”

At that point I hung up. She really hurt my feelings. I KNOW EDD is a circus right now and that’s why I was even asking in the first place. My job is paying me through May which is so cool of them but my husband is an essential worker and I have to worry about him going out there and bringing it home to me and our three kids. I understand that this is serious. I understand the financial stress. I just lived through two years of spotty employment and constant fear of eviction. What she said really hurts.
