Swelling in calf and ankle?

I'm 32 weeks and as of yesterday my calves and back of my feet are swelling pretty bad. I noticed yesterday that I had a bruised feeling on the back of my left ankle and when I looked all around my foot was swollen. Today I came home from work and while changing I realized my calf and that same foot were really large and swollen. Is this normal?

Don't mean to scare you but maybe get checked for a blood clot? Pregnant women are more prone to them with all the increased blood flow. Is it warm to the touch?

Thanks everyone! I have an appointment on Weds in 6 days. I wasn't sure if this was something I should just mention at my next appointment or call before then to tell them.

You might want to get your urine checked and let your doc know. Try to get your feet up. You can also wear support stockings. They are annoying but work! Ask your doctor.
