Period while taking bc pills?

I’ve been taking bc pills for almost 4 years now. I’m usually really good with them. I skipped my last period with the pills, just skipped the placebo pills and started my new pack right away. I wanted to skip my period again this month. The past few nights I’ve been taking the pill maybe 3-4 hours after I am supposed to due to situations. Last night I couldn’t take the first pill of the new pack because I didn’t the new pack in the mail yet. This morning, I started spotting. I just took the pill from yesterday and the pill is that I’m supposed to take today. Will the spotting go away now?? Help!
