Collecting Colostrum Early
I’m not looking to collect this early (30 weeks) but I’m definitely making quite a bit. With my son I barely had enough, which caused me to decide against breastfeeding him. This time I’m significantly leaking, like soaking a shirt from my breast to my waist in the matter of a few hours.
Did anyone collect early? If so, did you speak with your doctor first?
Also, would collecting into a milk catcher (not pumping, just the leaking) be okay?
