Progesterone levels.. help!

I've had two back to back miscarriages and I'm pregnant again (5 weeks today) I had my hcg and progesterone tested yesterday. My hcg is 1083 and my progesterone is 12.5 -- is this progesterone level low?? I really want to be put on progesterone because in my last two miscarriages it was low but my doctor said it isn't proven to help (but I've heard alot of others say it does) -- has anyone else had progesterone numbers like this and been fine?😩 So worried I'm going to have a third miscarriage in a row
