Are they necessary any advice ladies

I’m expecting a new baby in July. Baby has a crib and an owlet monitor with the sock. So my question is is a bed side sleeper or co sleeper necessary? I don’t mind purchasing one I just need to know if it will even be necessary or used since she has a crib to sleep in? I feel I might need it because she is my first and I feel I’m just hold her all day and stare at her.
