How long is spotting normal?

I’ve been spotting for the past week and it’s been freaking me out. I’ve been more sexually active, not on the pill, but I’ve used condoms every time after my last period. My period doesn’t come until next week but I’ve been having cramps with the spotting.

Hi! How does your spotting look like? Spotting blood? Spotting brown discharge? I posted something like this recently. But mine happens mid cycle like 10 days before expected period. And its very tiny does not even make it to the underwear and when it does its very tiny. Sometimes its mixed with mucus and sometimes its just brown discharge that looks and feels like a cream or dried out. Does not happen every month.
